I thought he did a great job, on the road, with serious personnel issues.

I though he did a decent job. Definitely slow played Joyner and did not use him to his potential. On his defense, he probably didn't want to lose his last QB. But, when you get Joyner, does it really matter if we lose him. I'm sure Dowdle, Feaster, or Denson can take snaps and run an offense as successful.

Edit: Also, Like 2 weeks ago, it looks like Boom called the D today as well.

Yes. Offensively we were far from productive. 13 points total. Play calling for Joyner was not good. Hurry up call instead of waiting for a review on 3rd down. Numerous false start penalties . Offense kept us from blowing UGA out

Yeah, I don't think Joyner was used well.

A hurt rh was a big part of that. He was on point today even with the limp.

My question for you is how in the hell do you think the refs were one sided?

Penalties:

SC had 11 for 68 yards
UGA has 6 for 60

Not so much in yards or amount of penalties, but it felt more like BS calls to destroy our momentum and keep UGA in it.

Edit: Mainly that PI call on UGA's game tying drive in the 4th. FWIW, in my opinion not a good call. I've watched it over and over. Contact was within 5 yards, by both men, and Fromm hadn't released the ball yet. After 5 yards the UGA player was free to go after the ball. And really the only momentum their player lost in his route was when he tried to double move. Bad call, gave UGA the ability to tie. It was 4th and 6, most likely would have been game.

Our offense had 10 points during regulation. Bmac didn't win this game.

I agree. But deeprig over here somehow thinks the refs favored us somehow (he posted about it in another thread).

Fans never think the refs call a game in their favor

So true. I can see the frustration from both fan bases on this one, but my bias is the Refs were more in favor of a UGA win.

Couple more instances; they didn't review the close first down that I thought Markway/Muse had. Even though we ran a hurry up and botched it on the false start, they definitely had time to review. Plus, they QUICKLY reviewed one of UGA's close plays.

To be fair, on their side, I don't think the hit on RH should have been called a penalty. It should have been a penalty against us for tripping.
