Is #1 beating UF at the Swamp to clinch the SEC East or beating Bama at home?

Is #3 beating the brakes off UGA in 2012 or beating #4 Ole Miss at home on Thurs nite? Or Dylan Thompson beating Clemson on the road?

I think all the examples you mentioned will probably be in the Top10 and you might be exactly right on #1.

Gotta be Bama. As great as the UF game was that year, it was away so not as exciting to most Gamecock fans.

They were both in 2010 and so they both contributed to winning the East, although I think the 'Bama one is more remembered and probably #1 on that list I'd personally choose UF. Why?

1) It was in the Swamp, winner goes to the East.
2) Two things we've never done.. won in the Swamp or win the East
3) "Win or go home" type situations are exactly what we had a history of doing in football
4) Shalacking them in the Swamp was great. I'm not sure if anyone remembers or not but before the game they had a graphic of SEC title game appearances by East schools. It had UF, UT, UGA all listed with big fat 0s next to us, UK, and Vandy. When the game was coming to a close they had it updated with that 1 next to ours. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen.

Also, I was sitting in the corner of the home side of that Alshon catch, I've rarely seen our fans explode like they did.

Garcia trucking that kid over into the endzone did it for me.

Let's hope there are plenty more great moments to be added to the list this season.

This is officially my nervous time of the preseason. Less than two weeks out. Important SEC season opener, expectations are through the roof. So many unknowns await us.

Can't believe the 05 win @UT didn't make the cut. I know the UT team ended up finishing 5-7 but that was a big one, Spurrier's first big one here. It would be a while before we got really good but I think it signified that the "Spurrier at South Carolina" could really have some teeth behind it.

To me, that win over UF in the Swamp was the best, because of what it meant. Bama was a close #2. I had the great fortune of being at both, and they should have definitely been the top 2.
