What class is that stud RB from Hammond in? 2022? Damn I’m getting old.

Yep, you`re talking about CJ Stokes. We've already offered. He's a stud that's only going to get better over the next two seasons.

Is he the one that is a Gamecock fan?

He grew up a Gamecock fan and he is always wearing Gamecock gear but I suspect he'll take all of his visits. Everyone is after him. He's a phenom. He's 5-11 and up to near 185 pounds last I heard but he's still so young. Super fast and quick and runs hard.

Two seasons to go. We need to keep improving in order to ensure he's ours but it's looking good right now.

Word is 3/4 star DB DeAngelo Taylor is a real possibility for this class. He just got his first SEC offer the other day from us, and that is what he really wanted. Hes good friends with John Dixon on the team, and his recruitment is heating up with us.

His first game was last friday and he got 3 interceptions. We are recruiting him for the safety position.

ETA: Hes a current Arizona State commit but is a very serious flip candidate.

Evans has us on his final 5 list he announced tonight. It’s still probably going to be UNC butttttttt ..... he’ll be in Charlotte for the game next Saturday, on UNC’s and, I hear, our sideline.

Could be interesting.

Yea Evans is a heavy UNC lean right now. I think we gotta beat them by about 35 to break up the illusion that Mack is selling them. An asswhooping in Charlotte puts Murphy, Evans, and Conley on notice.

Watching Burch play this past weekend has me wondering how he is ranked as high as he is. No where the player I expected to see.

He did not look good in that game. Admittedly they ran away from him all game but on the three times they did run at him they won the battle.

Burch did have a nice knockdown on a pass but that was his highlight of the day.

His stock dropped today. He fell a couple more places in the composite rankings.

I thought the same thing. It looked like he just wasn't trying. If he wasn't gonna try, he should have committed before the season started. Someone even told me Clemson pulled their offer already. Idk the legitimacy of that, but it was a Clemson fan who usually has ok info.

On the flip side, Huntley looked pretty damn good.

You know that will be their story if he commits to us. That's okay. I'll take him.

lol yea that's what I said. Hes just putting a built in excuse on this. but that was a very weak performance. Hopefully someone can light a fire under his arse if he commits to us.

If he comes here he better learn to put forth an effort. His play Saturday reaked of " I'm a 5 star I don't have to try".

We just got a new 4* DT commit for the 2020 cycle! 6-3, 310 hoss out of Winter Park, Oralndo, FL by the name of Jaquaze Sorrells.

Sorrells will in effect be an early-enroller, enrolling in January. Sorrells' addition to the 2020 class leaves 4 available scholarships left for the class (25 total scholarships minus Sorrells, Feaster, Oliviera, Muse, plus the 17 commitments already tagged to the class).....

Sorrells has been committed for awhile. He was going to be an academic redshirt this season and the hopes was for him to be enrolled this fall. He is a great pick up. I'm hoping this doesn't turn into one of those situations where the enrollment keeps getting pushed back.

lol Sorrels was in the last class. Weve been waiting to hear if hes been cleared academically for like 8 months. I guess he didnt get cleared. I thought he was supposed to take an academic gray shirt.

Honestly this is way more bad news than good news at this point.

ETA: He was a 2019 Signee. Did not qualify academically.

Yeah, with the new rules, doesn’t this mean Sorrells effectively took up a scholly for the ‘19 class and now will be using a scholly for the ‘20 class? We need those remaining 5 schollies for some of the remaining big targets and now it looks like we’re down to 4.
