Tank is going to Auburn no matter what.

It's close to home and they worship him in the area.

His mother is getting perks.

No matter what happens to Gus, the one coach they will retain is Cadillac Williams and that's all Tank is going to care about.

Yea I get that. No chance a legacy like him would get fired.

No, but getting Shaw would mean not getting Jaheim Bell.

Shaw and Bell are both solid. Long as we got one we are ok. I personally liked bell but Shaw is very tall and will be a solid receiving TE.

I tend to believe that if the recruit drops a big elegant commitment video its a lot less likely they will flip as well.

This is bad when it comes to flipping tank, BUT also means Marshawn Lloyd is more committed. Evans is leaning hard to UGA, which puts to rest any flip worry for Lloyd anyway.

People can get upset about tank, but Lloyd is a BEAST. We will be fine.

Agreed. We got the better back for sure.

I think folks were just infatuated with the thought of getting Lloyd AND Tank, and are sad it’s not a reality. But Lloyd is going to be a monster.

As for Burch, I truly believe the only way we have a shot with him is if we win at least 9 games this year. Unfortunately, that’s not happening. I think UGA is in the best position for him.

If we can land Grimes, though, that would be a get to be excited about.

I agree about Tank. Even if he flipped, I don't think he's coming here. No matter what anyone says, things took a turn when Lloyd committed. A head scratcher. All the teams he looked at have multiple RBs that share carries. As far as the potential Shaw pick up, we will still take Bell. A Tonka commitment would not mean we are out of it for Murphy, Grimes or Burch. We would make room for all of them. If we can get Murphy to visit, we have a shot.

Sorry - We would still take Bell, but I would think he would lose interest as he has been teetering between us and FSU for a minute. And he would not be as much of a priority with us either.

We are looking good for Rico Powers (WR) too. Who ive been following for a while. I really want him.

Also on another note, Conley, (No word from anyone, but expected to pick UNC) Murphy, and Evans are going to be watching that UNC game closely. Kicking the shite out of them would be massively advantageous to our recruiting.

I just hope if we get up big, Muschamp will make it a statement kind of game and not call off the dogs just because it's Mack.

And as y'all know so is Tonka. That makes 4 of the top 5 players in the state of SC that have committed to us.

That only leaves one.

One very important one.

If we get him, that would indeed being making a "STATEment".

We'd better get'em all this year because I'm not sure there is going to be a single instate take next year, Might be the worst year for in state talent that I can remember in my lifetime.

I can never remember a year when there wasn't at least a handful of D1 P5 players produced in the state, usually more.

Next year is looking weird.

We're gonna need to hit NC and GA hard and get our share in the process.

Listening to a podcast yesterday that suggested, for that reason, don't be surprised if we a over sign a few that will count toward next year. UNC will be loaded but they will be courted by the big boys. No sure how many we will snag.

By UNC you mean the state of NC right? Yeah, I could not agree more. They’ve probably got 25-35 big time players up there for the class of 2021. UGA, UNC, the sheep humping sister bangers, NC State, Va Tech, Tennessee, Florida, FSU, us .... everyone will be in NC trying to snag players outta there for 2021.

I know we want a RB and a couple of WRs and OLmemen out of there ... and a DT but he’s going to either the taterheads or UNC. I think that Maye kid I saw play last year is a heavy lean to Bama but he’s a big good looking QB. I mean we’re in on a lot of kids up there for 2021 but we really need to make a statement against UNC this year if we want to do some damage up there next year.
