J. Conley 6'2 db 4 star out of NC just got a cb to uncheat. I thought we led for him. Looks like Mack might be locking the state down. Another reason we need to curb stomp them in a couple of weeks.

Never understood the confidence here. NC kid that has not visited us in a long time. In fact, my understanding is that he lives in an out of the way area in NC and has not taken a lot of visits anywhere. If he holds off until after he visits us, then we might have a shot. I can't remember the game he is scheduled to come in. If he goes ahead and commits to UNC, he'll probably shut it down.

Jacksonville NC is on the coast, 2.5 hours from Chapel Hill, 4 hours to Columbia.

They say AU is only 45 minutes from his house. Hard to beat that.

Hopefully Jordan Burch is of that same mindset about Carolina when the time comes.

I think it’s Auburn too. He’ll be a standout with no competition at RB in his class.

Great info! Our recruiting needs something positive. So do you think Tank is 100% auburn tomorrow?

Oh yea

But that ones not over yet. We need Oregon to beat them game 1. Early losses always unravel Auburn. Theres no room for error for Gus this year and a coach firing would benefit us directly.

Why was auburn not more of a factor out of the gate for tank?

Bigsby had a good relationship with Au recruiter Cadillac Williams from early on, but Tank was considered more of a ATH prospect than a true RB at first.

Bigsby's story is the classic one of the best athlete on the high school team playing everywhere on the field and never leaving it during games. He really only had one full season in high school as a RB, although he played receiver, linebacker, and safety on defense. His solid receiving skills as a RB is due to his time playing that position.

Two events happened that turned things up for Auburn: Lloyd committed to us in late May, and Auburn had their "Big Cat" recruiting event around the first of June, which Bigsby visited. Ever since then, there were more noise regarding Auburn than USC, and even UGA moved up above USC after Lloyd committed to us, as he was a top target for UGA, and they then offered Bigsby solely as a RB for the first time. At one time I thought Bigsby was going to UGA because he grew up wanting to play for UGA, and UGA started recruiting him harder after they lost Lloyd, but turns out that may have only been foreplay, and they seem to have cooled on Bigsby since then, or he's cooled on them.

In any case, I don't hear much of anything at all regarding our recruitment of Bigsby anymore....

Doesn’t hurt that UGA landed another 5-star RB either. That may be why they cooled on him. Plus they think they get Zach Evans, too.

We need Auburn to tank so we can land Tank. It could very well spiral downhill for the Gus Bus if they get blown out by Oregon. Could also go the complete opposite way too if they win. Auburn seems to have those seasons like 2010 and 2013 out of nowhere.

Although a lot of people close to the program were saying that Lloyd's commitment to us wouldn't sway Tank, it's pretty obvious that it did.

I believe Tank wants to be the RB stud of the class, and as of right now, that wouldn't be the case with us or UGA.

Glad we're getting the truck, but does that mean Burch is going elsewhere? :(

Don't feel good at all on Burch, but Hemmingway wasn't ever in a "either or" situation with Burch. If anything, we're getting Tonka because we didn't get Murphy or Grimes.....
