There is some talk that we may grey shirt one player already committed to make room for someone special. The player already committed is only 16 and needs some room to grow and mature before joining the team. Offensive lineman.

From what I've heard hes incredible. I have a buddy who raves about him a lot, and thinks he has a higher ceiling than walker at his position. Dude follows OLine recruiting close so I believe him. If we can gray shirt him without him leaving, fine. We DO seem like we need the room especially with Grimes lookin at Tenn and Us

We were in with one or two other ol and let him be the guy that closed out our class. That plus Insta commit once offered does bode well for the possibility

I'm sorry but I think Lloyd is done. Watch this video. There's tons more just like this one. He won't even say Go Cocks. Won't even acknowledge us. This kid will flip to Georgia. Hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am.

That's exactly what was happened. My guy that talks to him said he was gonna do that but then realized gamecock fans would freak out. which ^ as you can see some did.

Had a feeling Walker was never really that committed to us, so it’s not a super huge surprise. Still sucks as he’s a stud.
I also share in the uncertainty around Lloyd. I get he just tweeted that he’s still firm or whatever, but he’s going to be badgered by UGA and other schools nonstop, and he’s made it clear he’s not shutting down his recruitment.
It stinks to always have to be a cynic about our football program but these gut feelings are generally pretty accurate, so we’ll see.

When you're after the best players there will always be other programs trying to take them away ... especially when you are trying to climb the ladder.
Being a fan in such times is not for the weak minded or faint of heart.
It's better to send positive mental vibes and then believe that things usually work out for the best. Stay positive, stay upbeat, do not waiver in your commitment and it eventually pays off ... keep that nose to the grindstone.
Right now we have the right young coaches and assets in place. We're not going to get them all but we're going to get our fair share if we just stay the course and believe. You gotta believe. Why not us?
Stay positive. Never place all your hopes on the whims of a teenager. Most don't know what they are doing. We want the ones that do.

My brother in law is an FSU grad, and he told me a few weeks back that Walker would stay in state with one of UF, Miami, or FSU. Apparently, he’s feeling the Gators big right now.

There was some scuttle on another UGA board that Loyd has had some knee injuries and it's scared the coaches off. Also that they wanted to see Tank run a 4.5 before they got serious at RB. Looks like he got that at the Opening. I'm not saying it's the Gospel but their are some decently connected guys there.
