Some people will poo poo this because it's not a "sexy" position but this would be awesome. Kid is good. He's visiting w/his Dad after the dead period and I suspect that's when it'll be made public.

I know Capers was committing today, but doubt it’s him. Figured he was Auburn bound all the way.

Yep no surprise. If Gus the bus gets canned, he'll be back on the market. I know this sounds sour grapes, but we moved on from him a while back. If we take another WR, it'll most likely be a slot guy like McDougle. We still have some awesome targets out there. If we need the room, we might not take another WR.

When a punter averages 50+ yards per punt and is also left footed (weird spun on the ball that makes it difficult to field) plus he’s an exceptional soccer style pooch kicker with an accuracy rating above 90 .... then yeah, the kid is a weapon.

Three career punts over 70 yards, one over 80. Known for his coffin corner kicks to both sides of the field and for dropping kick inside the ten yard line ... just incredible.

He’s also a two step punter which makes it nearly impossible to block his punts. Kid is big too! Has future NFL punter written all over him.

A kid with this kind of leg talent can completely flip a field and change the momentum of a game at the drop of a hat.

Huge get if true. I can’t wait to see it made official. Huge, huge, get. Our best teams have always had great punters and kickers.

There are three parts to the game of football. Offense, defense and special teams. Too often we dforget about special teams but they are as equally important as the other two.

This kid should be a four star prospect. He is that good.

I see what you did there ... nice pun. Well done.

So the limit grows nearer. Seven more schollies to give at the most.

Anyone up for a wish list?

Of the top of my head ....

Burch
Tank
Murphy
Tisdol
Bell
Kroeger
Robinson maybe?

************

Feaster transfers here.
Muse is a transfer.

Tonka and Grimes seem to be dropping.

Burch

Bell
Robinson or Conley
Kroeger
Tisdol* anyone getting the vibe that something is on hold here? From our side?

I still think they would find a way to add Grimes if he wanted to come. I can see Hemingway going either way.

I think Tisdol is already ours. I think Tonka may have held out too long and Burch and Murphy are ours.

This is almost exactly it. 4 of these guys I know are already garaunteed/Silent.

Also apparently Tank and Lloyd became really good friends at the opening and Tank is heavily back in our camp after being in auburns lean for a while. This is great news.

I think we are still big on Tonka as he has alot of off field stuff to bring to the table as well as on field traits.

We will make room for grimes if he wants in. But we are filling up quick.

Heard Doty to Tank for a big TD today and afterwards they both did the Spurs Up hand signal.

Fingers crossed .... landing both Lloyd and Tank would be huge. Perhaps the biggest duo since Kevin Long and Clarence Williams or George Rogers and Johnny Wright.

Pinnock, Watson and Brewer was good too but not highly rated at the time.

This would be a pair of Top Ten RBs.

Please oh please oh please let this happen.

Punter is a thankless position but it can be a game changer.

Only that UNC is pouring it on trying to keep him home but that we appear to be in good shape and his Momma loves us.

He's told friends he needs to go out of state but stay close to home.

Don't put anything past Mack Brown for this one though. Evidently this one has become personal to him. NC is being raped of talent this class so far. He's got to swing things around or risk having his homecoming blow up for the foreseeable future.

Fans of both UNC and NC State are screaming bloody murder.
