SC and the COVID

They locked us down too soon.
When we closed everything COVID really wasn’t much of an issue except in a few pockets and now everyone has been turned loose again. In Lexington people are packing into any open venue and cases are spiking again. I went to the driving range and Tokyo Joe was playing...with hundreds all piled up on top of each other.
This doesn’t feel like it’s going to end well.

People need to get back to work
SC’s economy needs it

You're using hyperbole in your descriptions.

Covid is the last thing you need to worry about in Myrtle Beach

Not true. I don’t troll home boards...it’s trashy.
I live in Lexington so have a vested interest in SC beyond football.
My point was I’m surprised to see many people out and all up on each other given this thing is still working around. I don’t mean just kids either but older people. There really wasn’t much going on when McM shut down everything. Now is the time to be cautious because cases are going back up...there were around 770 yesterday.
And I’m not advocating closing business...just use common sense. Like don’t jam all up on a patio at the bar listening to Tokyo Joe. I’m a father of two with older parents though so my perspective is different.

Really?
They were basically locked down for 3 months
Half of them lost their jobs
The thought of social distancing masks etc IMO will leave people’s minds really quickly
Already left my mind, and my grandfather died of it

I'm still not over this shite... had it since May 29 (at least). I have smell in one nostril 100% I think but in the other it's probably 10% at best.. and it's fricking with my taste. Thought I had it back completely several days ago but maybe the drastic change from nothing to getting SOMETHING back made me think it was 100%. As the days have passed I've realized it's not quite right. Still have breathing issues... I'm 32. Supposed to get an antibody test this Thursday. I live in Lexington Co.

Damn.
How long does it take to leave your system?
Does it frick with your fatigue wise or body aches anymore?

I don't know. This shite is starting to piss me off. I just have the residual loss of senses still and some breathing issues...

All that’s happening by shutting down everything and staying home is prolonging the inevitable. So let everyone congregate and get this shite over with.

I know three people who had the antibody test done and all tested IGG, meaning they had been exposed to or had the virus themselves at some point. None had any symptoms whatsoever. Two of them in their 30s and one was 41. I bet a lot more people have/had it than we know.

I mean between the crowds that flooded out of their homes on Memorial Day and the protests that took place in every major city a week or so later after Floyd's death means the cat is already out of the bag. There's no putting it back in so they might as well open up.

This
No one gives a shite anymore
Time to get all those people that couldn’t work remotely to work, and people that want to be at a bar or restaurant at those too.
Oh and a haircut

We all know why things got shut down and why a certain political party would like it to stay that way. Its the only way they can hope to beat Trump.
