Well, he can start by doing the same thing Multi Millionaire Joe Moglia did. Be an actual CEO figure head coach and hand the team to chadwell. Only pay Chadwell a Million and get the frick out of his way.
Imagine that, a guy who knows business, running a football team like a business. And being as infinitely successful at football as he was at turning TD Ameritrade into what it is today.

Oh and that "gadget offense" as some of you call it. Its actually called a modified triple option. But I'm sure Doty and our stud running back wouldn't fit into that one at all. We def have wayyyyy to good of a receiving core currently to run something like that.

I'm not trying to justify Beamer vs Chadwell. But what Im getting at would be against bringing him in at this point. Even the surest bets can flame out, rather than chasing the hot commodity to install their system in our program, we need to bring in guys that want to work together to build something from scratch. If Chadwell could come in and give his input to that effect, great.
I'd like to see our "brain trust" work together with some different backgrounds, employ analytics to study our 8 yearly oponents, use the eqipment in the FOC to analyse what our players can actually do, and develop a competitive advantage to counter. Quit looking for the next best system, and develop the in-house ability to stay on top of where the game is going, and implement changes effectively.

Its a beautiful thought my man, but its not going to happen. There is not brain trust, its Beamer and a handful of position coaches that literally no other program wants. This thing was shite from Jump Street Johnny.

Well the no name brain trust obviously isn't filled with recognizable names. Nobody is coming in to run their proven system. Even Bmac put together a decent offense by himself, let some earnest Carolina guys work on developing something of their own while focusing on the culture, basic technique, and execution.

WTF kind of hire is this. A guy who Matt Rhule keeps pulling around and demoting each time. Gets fired from Tennessee Tech because of harassment and discrimination, and now he’s our OC. Wonderful.
frick Ray Tanner. We could’ve had Chadwell and instead we have a dude who has no idea what he’s doing because a few former players liked him.
I’m outta here. Let me know if a miracle happens and this all works out in a few years. Peace out.

I think we're going to see some shake up here that Ultimately leads to satterfield being OC in title only.
Brent key has his name being floated around and I would imagine he would be OL coach and CO And more than likely play caller.
The real question I would have about this is who would be quarterback coach. Do we have satterfield who has only coached the position a couple of years or do we switch Erik kimrey to QB coach See as That's his actual position

There will be a few that follow through but the majority will continue to pay their dues. Humans just repeat what they know and our fans know how to complain but it stops there. The cold hard fact is Gamecock athletics will never reach it's potential as long as we have a board of trustees that is based on political loyalty instead of loyalty to USC and doing what is needed to be a winner.

Half Cocked, I have had all the same thoughts as you. Fricking unbelievable we sit here a month after the Beamer hire without a full staff and the hires he’s made are several guys from a 2-8 staff, a high school coach and an “assistant” OL coach to be our OC.
It looks like Beamer got the job over the AP Coach of the Year (Chadwell) because Beamer was willing to keep so many of the staff that was under contract. Beamer was a short-sighted money saving hire.
I expect the DC hire to be completely unremarkable. Any DC worth a damn would take one look at this staff, the current roster, the schedule, and especially the OC, and consider a move here to be career suicide. His defense will be on the field the entire game.
It blows my damn mind that we sit here watching this turn into even more of a shite show than it already was, when we could be sitting here with Chadwell and a complete staff in place for weeks, organized, working the transfer portal, recruiting, preparing for spring practice and getting us excited about the 2021 season. Instead we’ve got frickall.
I wish Tanner had never won those two National Championships. I’d give those back in a second to not have him as AD.
