I can understand your point but the staff retained are on a year to year contract so no money saved

Bobo and Rocker were given 2 year contracts and each have a year remaining. Keeping those two saved almost $2M for this year.

The first answer was compete with Ole Miss for Kiffen. But instead that fricking retard Tanner extended that shite dick Muschamp. We'd already be headed in the right direction.
- I don't give a frick about what you think of him morally. This is a frickign business, not your fricking church. I'd have thrown in a chopper ride to and from CLT or Charleston anytime he wanted for all the blow and pussy he can handle.
- I don't give a frick about him only staying 3 years. 3 years of him winning for us is worth every dime compared to this dog shite.
- I don't give a frick about your downvote either you baby back bitches who want to suffer mediocrity.

The second answer was Chadwell's staff at a value. This is nothing but Dooley 2.0

This is what happens when you let an ice cream eating retard. And a gaggle of "my daddy is" politicians be in charge of a business. Fortunately this business can in fact lose money. Its up to the fans to make that clear so changes are made.

This is the problem right damn here. Keeping 2 guys to save money now when keeping them will make you lose much more down the road. Get off the check book and pay whatever it takes to win now!

Sarcasm, while laying out the only possible way I see any of it making sense.

I expect the DC hire to be completely unremarkable. Any DC worth a damn would take one look at this staff, the current roster, the schedule, and especially the OC, and consider a move here to be career suicide. His defense will be on the field the entire game.

Clayton White seems like a pretty solid hire, actually.

I agree. I’m happy to be wrong here. White seems like he may be an up and comer and a nice find.

I'll walk this one back a notch. White was the only type of guy Beamer was going to get at this point. No DC with any real options for upward trajectory would have taken this gig at this point. We needed a guy who was either willing to throw his hat in and 5x his current salary for 2/3 years. Or a guy who genuinely wants a challenge.

Its not what I want, but its the only hire to date I can't drag through the dirt.

I was on the record as wanting Chadwell during the hiring process, but I feel like part of the panic over Beamer's assistant coaching hires is because these guys don't have SEC experience so none of us have heard of them.

I think Clayton White was a great hire. I don't know enough about what Satterfield's offense is going to look like to have an opinion. What I do like is that we're getting some new blood in here.

We aren't Bama, we aren't UGA. We don't recruit on their level, and as long as we try to just replicate everything they're doing, we never will. We've got to do some different things to get the ball rolling, then the recruiting will follow.

Maybe Beamer is a total failure and all of these coaches are trash, but at least he's willing to step out on a limb and take a damn shot. When Muschamp's back was against the wall, he went out and got Mike fricking Bobo, and never changed shite on a defense that wasn't working.

I guess my point is, if nothing else, chin the hell up and take heart in the fact that we at least have a coach who isn't going to make every single hire off the SEC assistant scrap heap. Lately, that's been the right way. Who the hell had heard of Joe Brady in 2018?

That’s the thing with the OC hire. If his resume looked like the DC’s I’d be more excited about the hire.

Instead, the new OC hire reeks of Beamer giving the job to a friend because the guy’s results as an OC and HC are not impressive. I was told Beamer and Satterfield were grad assistants together at UT twenty years ago and were in each other’s weddings......don’t know if true.

Because of Satterfield’s questionable hire, some theorize Beamer wanted a guy he trusted he could work with because Beamer wants to be heavily involved in coordinating the offense and calling plays. This is the only thing that makes sense to me about the OC hire. Otherwise, why hire an OC that has little history of success at the position?

Because I’m a Gamecock and want this to work, I’m hoping the Beamer/Satterfield theory is correct and the duo may create an offense that is productive. Certainly Beamer should have some ideas from the OU offense and maybe Satterfield can implement some ideas from the Brady offense (if they let the assistant OL coach in on staff meetings).

You just picking up on that chief? I've been shouting it from the mountain tops non stop and collecting down votes like parking tickets after a rough night out in Charleston.

Also downvoter, you're still a baby back anonymous bitch that can't dispute me. You know it, and Daddy knows it.

Downvoting is a form of silent protest. It's also known as taking the bitches way out. I actually grow in strength from knowing I made a little bitch cry when I get that downvote.

So I thought the idea was to bring Beamer in on the cheap so we would have massive amounts of money to go get elite top-notch Cordinators yet we end up with an asst. OL coach and the DC of western kentucky. They may turn out to be the next great things but it's clearly obvious that the fans have been lied to again. We were always hiring on the cheap. frick Tanner.

What's worse is I guarantee that Tanner thinks he did good by hiring cheap and saving money.

And what’s worse is that money saved will go to other sports
Like hiring a new assistant for sand volleyball or softball
