At least the program will be entertaining even if we lose

He's in his late 50's now. Don't know his salary, but I imagine it is about what we are paying Muschamp.
Unless he and his wife just hate Pullman or something, would you move at this point? He has a lot of interests, and it's hard for me to imagine him dragging this out another ten years.
In his shoes I'd stay where I was until it was time to call it a career.

Pretty sure Blackbeard’s ship sank off our coast. Checkmate

Air Raid works in conferences with no defenses like B12 and PAC
SEC has broader and deeper defineses

It can’t be worse than what we have now

Goddamn this timeline so much

His offense and Muschamp's defense would be unstoppable...against D2 opponents.

Blackbeards ship sank off the coast of NC so Leach is back in play.

So I take it you're not a fan of the 15 yard cushion our cb give the wr?

We already ran the run & gun in the late 80's why not try the air raid. Bentley might have been able to top Ellis interception record.

I’m not sure if this is fact
But I’ve heard the reason Leach hasn’t gone to a bigger program is because he’s fed up with boosters and the behind the scenes shite that goes on in college football
He does not like to recruit and normally wins games with transfer and lesser talented players because of his scheme
It is my understanding that boosters are very active with our program
Unless I’m wrong
I don’t believe it’s the same as where he’s been previously (well other than OU and he was there for a year)

Part of our problem, a major part, is that big time boosters have to much say at our school.

Well 1) they aren’t paying enough
But 2) if we wanted Leach, he’d hate that
Unless whatever has been said on the Internet is false

They, boosters, think because they donate big bucks that they also get a hand in running the athletic department and it's allowed. You know Saban wouldn't put up with that.

I think because Saban has had so much success they don’t
We haven’t, so our boosters want a say.
Saban does his thing while his boosters buy his players chargers

Thats exactly the way it should be.

We had a good thing going when they helped bring Clowney in from Bama
And got Alshon to flip from SoCal

I can absolutely positively promise you that those days have been lonnnnnng gone. Mike McGee put an end to those days and Eric Hyman made sure they would never return.
SEC money changed all of that.
The two boosters who maybe, maybe, might have had a say so to some extent were Mike Mungo (RIP) and Eddie Floyd and Eddie played his last card keeping the Floyd building up.
Others get their names on various things, but they have zero zilch nada say-so about anything.
Darla Moore gave over $40 million and has zero say so.
An Alabama lawyer, son of the Tampa Bay Bucs owner, tried to throw his weight around at Bama after giving twenty million and they told him to frick off and gave his money back.
Being big donors doesn't do what y'all think it does.
Besides, the last Garnet Society meeting I attended Harris Pastides told us if we didn't like how he spent our money (on gender studies) then tough ... ask for a refund.
A couple of million means nothing to a multi billion dollar enterprise these days.
