Let me say this, the absolute best coaching job so far this season is Pittman as HC and Odom as DC. In fact, Odom has been hands down the best Defensive Coach in the league this year. Before somebody says but Kirby and UGA, they have a roster of 4 and 5 stars.

And Franks has lots of experience and is a gamer and in fact seems more a fit for what The Hogs are asking him to do than what Mullen was.

Yea, doubling waddle is not the answer. You would be better off doubling Smith because he is an absolute monster running routes. That man will break you ankles on every cut. Waddle is a decent route runner, but he's burner like tyreek hill, he's gonna hit you with a crossing route and be up on you by 2 step within ten yards from scrimmage. Or he will kill you on a vertical and have 4 or 5 steps on you by the time he catches the ball near/in the end zone. You have to press waddle at the line extremely hard while you can in hopes that jones picks someone else before waddle gets open, or hope for a coverage sack/throwaway. Given enough time, waddle will beat his man 9/10 times.
