Leal will be inside next year. Was Carper starting at the end of the year?

Renfro has given us so many snaps, and I’m rooting for him, but I don’t see him holding off George and Jones and Blades.

And I seriously doubt Myles Jones starts.

That’s a LOT of seniors!

Thanks for the correction.

I feel like a healthy Blades is a lock to start at one of the corner spots

I’m pretty sure he was supposed to against UGA and did early in the year pre injuries so not sure if he counts

Hocker is most likely to lose his position IMO followed by Carson Green and Renfro. Although I'd bet Renfro plays some more at safety this year.

The OL players are the ones most likely to lose their job as a result of competition.

Wow really? I could see flashes in Rogers and maybe someone takes a chance on him but renfro? Only logically thing I can think of is he thinks he’s not gonna start at corner and might as well leave now

With Richardson leaving it looks like Smith will move to RB.

I think Smith moves over regardless of who else we get at running back.

Deondre Jackson will almost certainly redshirt because he spent most of his senior year recovering from a serious injury.

That leaves 4 available running backs INCLUDING Ainias Smith if Evans or Hubbard sign. Achane is going to play no matter what. He'll return punts, kicks, line up in the slot and play in a 2-back set.

Really sucks we lost Richardson and Corbin. Now we’re looking at moving our starting WR to RB

How will Deondre Jackson redshirt? If he isn't good enough to get some carries next year, he will certainly not be a guy you want on scholarship for 5 years. I would be shocked if he redshirts and hangs around more than 2 years. I bet he plays in 2020.

You can play up to 4 games and still redshirt. That's how Deneric Prince was able to play in the 2018 opener but still redshirt.

Zach Calzada redshirted even though he was clearly the backup and played in 3 games.

I hope they move Smith all over the field. Dude is so fast that getting him a minimum of 10 touches a game any way possible is going to be essential for major success next year. If that means more carries as a RB so be it.

You know who is faster? Achane.

Yeah but Achane is listed as 170 right now. He needs to get in the strength and conditioning program fast. For reference, Ainias was listed at 187 coming out of HS at roughly the same height
