Arkansas as of today
- an elite team would on average have 1.8 losses
- a good team would on average have 3.1 losses
- an average team would on average have 4.4 losses
So, Arkansas is currently sitting at 5-3. They've performed to date as a "good" team.

By any metric, Clemson continuing to suck this year is a huge knock against UGA's SOS numbers this year. Hard to argue that the Clemson in week 1 looks a lot like the Clemson we are seeing now though as well. Offensively they still look like hot garbage, but defensively, they're down some significant playmakers.
Other than that, I think everyone expected most of UGA's schedule to be pretty easy. Kentucky/Arkansas/Auburn were honestly surprising to be as well perceived as they were when we played them. Most expected the Gators to be the biggest test in conference for us I believe.

Losses to average/good teams (UCLA, Auburn, Kentucky, Ole Miss).
If I’m reading correctly and very good chance I’m not.
Wouldn’t Kentucky and Ole Miss fall into elite by the metrics used?
