It’s a rebuilding year even with 20 returning starters when those starters have basically never won in their careers

Compare that to the depth of the rest of the SEC. We have a lot of super seniors but that doesn't mean they are any good.

You’re not wrong. Ultimately this is all about recruiting. If Pittman starts pumping out top 10-15 classes he’ll be fine. If he doesn’t, he won’t be.

We are in perpetual rebuild mode and have been since we fired Petrino.

He is looking at a Mark Stoops rebuild. He was never going to win the SEC west in his second year.

Some of our fanbase needs to calm down. I know it sucks to lose but people calling for anybody to be fired need to step back from the ledge. Remember where we were just two years ago. We had a grueling schedule even by Arkansas standards this year and have competed in every game except one so far this year. It wasn’t like auburn just blew us off the field. And I mean we can say how bad auburn is this year but they’re 5-2 and only losses to a good penny state squad and Georgia who is undoubtedly the best team in the country. Let’s see how we bounce back after we have a couple of weeks to catch our breath and the coaches have time to really re-evaluate some stuff and make adjustments

I’m pissed off but then I remember this is only year 2 under Pittman. Year 2 under Chaggy around this time of year I wanted to jump off a bridge.

Oh we're undoubtedly better. But welcome to the world of total rebuild, with s new coach and QB. We got s little boost with people staying but next year is gonna need some young talent to step up.
