I wouldn't be shocked in the least if you had a field day against us today.
The point is Odom was a piss poor game manager and tactician; a cement head. So as Drinkwitz' digs out of the hole Chodum stuck us in, I don't expect him to give away wins like B.O. did to y'all in 2018.
Although I can't stand his punchable Stoops face, I respect what he's built at Kentucky. He's provided the template for building a middle of the pack border school by recruiting the B1G footprint using the draw of the SEC.
And I'm glad to say Drinkwitz has taken notes. There's no reason Mizzou shouldn't be attracting offensive linemen and tight ends from OL factory states like Iowa, Nebraska and others - and now they are. How he'll untimately address out DL shortcomings is an open question.
I think when Alabama and Auburn move East the West will be the easier side of the conference in part because of Kentucky, so Mizzou moving West will be as nice a bonus as being in the East has been for the last ten years.
All Kentucky's needed for the last few years is a decent quarterback and now they may have one. And if Will Levis is the real deal I think this 2021 UK team has their best chance to win the East since we've joined the conference.
