If Texas comes into the conference we need to mandate one thing.

They need to switch their field back to natural grass. We have the most natural grass fields in the country as a percentage and the only one with a majority of schools with the real stuff.

None of our major programs use turf. Ole miss and Arkansas both switched back to real grass in the last 5 years. Kentucky and Vanderbilt I think are the only schools that use artificial turf. Nobody in the west uses the stuff.

College football was meant to be played on dirt and grass. Not carpet. If y’all join the best conference in the land you need to get your facilities in order. Artificial turf is for poor schools who can’t afford to keep real grass looking good. Y’all ain’t poor are you?

To be fair I still forget they’re actually in the SEC.

Kentucky ought to be ashamed of themselves for using turf.

They just switched too. Within the last few years. They also have a corporate sponsor field. The only in the SEC. it’s shameful.

Can we please just take a few mill from everyone's conference money cut to pay for Kentucky to have a real field with no corporate sponsor.

I'd try to forget that embarrassment of my team failing four times in a row to move the football 2 1/2 feet.

Get all you can out of that. It’s the high water mark of Mizzou football.

That they’re out if they pull their visiting locker room bullshite again?

Neither them or OU are gonna like where they get told to put traveling sections.

Miss State needs to offer a deal to the SEC, to help other conference members get their fields up to par. And the conference really should work on making grass the only option.
It's a big enough issue that some NFL players won't go to a team with a rug.

It’s a geography issue for us. It won’t grow because the field is on top of bedrock. Or so the story goes.
