Kylin was an “opt out” even though he got kicked off the team. He would have been Mr. Irrelevant based on the old draft number

We had 2 opt out during the season. Rakeem Boyd at RB and Jerry Jacobs at CB. Neither were drafted, but both picked up by Detroit Lions as UDFA. We may have had 1 or 2 opt-out before the season started but I can't remember. No one noteworthy.

Some fans are still butt hurt over an opt out and player quitting. Only two of these opted out.

2 opted back in and 2 transferred. None of those four were draft-eligible.

I guess Kelvin Joseph. But he didn’t “opt out” until there was one regular season game left.

I opted out of college football when Chad Morris was our coach and I didn't get drafted.

Nobody is butt hurt.

My parents taught me growing up that in sports you stick with your team through thick and thin and you don’t quit in the middle of a season.

Then acting like a baby and whining that I am not going to participate if you don’t change the flag was very immature. Then to top it off, after the flag was changed (which by the way, I supported even back in 2001 when it was first voted on) he still ended up quitting the team.

Kylin Hill was a good college RB and I will be pulling for him to succeed in the NFL. Alas, I don’t think he is quite good enough to do so though I hope he proves me wrong.

LSU had 3 players opt out

Kary Vincent - Shouldn’t have opted out. Woulda been drafted much higher
Tyler Shelvin - probably would have been drafted in the same range
Terrace Marshall - good move to opt out. Only could have gotten injured
