Ben Cleveland only lifted 225 30 times? There has to be an explanation there.

Big but not strong? He got pushed around more than I thought he would for his size at times.

I didnt see that.

His issues are blocking in space. He was almost useless on screens. But he can drive block as well as anyone in college football last year.

That and he’s a big boy to be running a 4.85.

I definitely saw it. Was not alot, but for all I know it was part of the play. He is definitely good and hope he improves where needed to become dominant in the nfl.

Not saying that, that time is good for his size. I just expected more on his bench press.

Im seeing a lot of different numbers on different sites. One site is averaging the 2 times.
Most sites are posting both.
Traditionally, records hold onto the best time.

It looks like your posted time is his average. Can you confirm?

"He came smoking out of the gate, but I think he kind of ran out of juice," SEC Network analyst and former Georgia All-American Matt Stinchcomb said during the broadcast. "You look at him, he looks like an action figure, so everybody is anticipating 45 reps probably, maybe 50. That's kind of the calling card and then you look at his arm length at only 33 inches, all that should add up a pretty good number.

"And I think he just ran out of gas. There's no doubt there's more power in that upper body than what we saw on that bench press. He went lower than anybody anticipated."

That 4.78 time will cost LeCounte some draft position. But film review will show that his instinct for the ball is very good.

his instinct

His instincts won’t matter if he can’t get his speed back. If there are concerns about his foot injury and whether he will ever get back to his former speed, it will most certainly affect his draft potential. He is one of the best overall contributors we have had in a while so I hope it works out for him, but that is certainly a question mark.
