Additionally, the system King ran in high school under his dad had semblance to Jimbo's offense...one of the reasons that Fisher wanted him. The learning curve would be small.

His offense is too outdated to win big games and out score the teams with better schemes. But they will keep steady at 3rd in the west. Maybe tie for 2nd in years lsu loses to Florida.

Getting it done means:
1. beating Alabama.
That is a tough task.
2. Winning SECCG
Likely against GA, again another tough task.
Texas A&M looks well poised, but the step from where they are now to where they want to be is pretty steep.
Get really good qb play (edit- and I doubt you get that without really stout oline) and I think it is possible --- just not that likely without it.

I guess they outscored every team they played last year not named Bama. Shall they vacate those wins because the other teams had sexier offenses?

Shhh, Aggies want to blame the offense on Mond but don't want to admit that Fisher trotted Mond out as his starter for three consecutive years.
Didn't try out any of the backups, didn't try to bring a transfer in.
They say that Mond was perfect so their defense didn't get exposed but they dont want to talk about how people don't win championships that way anymore.

I mean thats cool and all if you only want to win Orange Bowls.
I'd be concerned that three years in, the major weakness of the team is supposed to be what the head coach specializes in.

I dont see it happening in 2021 unless King is Johnny Manziel 2.0 and we had some hidden gems on the OL that nobody knew about.

something like that 9-4 ,8-4 ...probably a bowl loss to 3rd or 4th ranked big ten team ...jimbo cant compete for a title in the SEC ..BAMA /Georgia/LSU too strong for them yr in yr out ...jimbo should see if he could go back to FSU and try to resuurect that dead program
