Some of this probably isn’t the most fair as I’m writhing from setting offensive football back about 20 years.

-injuries: Jordan Davis (in a sling), Julian Rochester, quay walker (neck), Lewis cine (ankle), Monty rice (70%), George Pickens, Kenny mckintosh, Ben Cleveland

-offense, regressing weekly. A strong running team with no passing compliment, so expect the box to stack

- quarterback, regressing rapidly and becoming easier to solve than a 4 piece puzzle with instructions. No Qb has taken a meaningful snap outside of the first half of week 1 going into the game to decide the East.

- kicking. We pass up a 57 yard field goal (yes it is long) to throw a Hail Mary with a quarterback who’s arguably biggest deficiency besides height is arm strength. Hot pod has conceded kickoffs to camarda too, injury?

- support. Kirby has lost a lot of his fan base and the media at this point with his decision making and lack of adjustment that seems to be apparent to make. In a year where playoff politicing will be at an all time high and carry more weight, not good.

- coaching. I know we wanted to recommit to the run, but we through 13 passes all game. I suspect monken and his air raid background didn’t commit to 13 passes which probably means Kirby has his hand in the cookie jar or monken has given up on stet.

Is our best hope now that Athens PD pays us back for all those years and nails stet for ridding a scooter with a suspended license or something?

Sigh - not the year I was expecting.

I want to say we are in trouble vs florida...but then again I remember us being frustrated like this last season and we looked like a different team vs florida and beat them. It's always a missing piece with us every year...

He got it into the endzone on the run. Weird thing to complain about.

Same team is last year with a better pass rush.

The defense can dominate bad teams.

The offense is quite possibly the worst in the SEC.

Said it from the start - Stetson is always going to commit turnovers and just isn’t good enough to beat good teams on his own.

QB play has been the black eye for Kirby Smart post Jake Fromms first season. It’s been flat out baffling how Fromm regressed and the QB play and development have been atrocious.

Stetson Bennett is not good.

Mathis may not be either but we have no clue. He certainly has a higher upside. We know that Bennett has no chance to beat Alabama so idk why we won't give Mathis another chance

I actually think we can beat FLorida with Bennett and a healthy team. Not as much with Bennett but without Pickens & Davis.

And Mathis got benched for playing better against a better team.

I hate second guessing coaches. I work in a damn hospital and the only thing i know about football is what I see on saturday. Whereas they do this for a living and they know what's up with their team and players.

But from my limited perspective Kirby has had a hard time managing QB. Part of me wants to think he's just stubborn. Richt had a stubborn streak too. There are times when even we couch experts are proven right on these matters. (Willie Martinez. Richt's repeated special teams disasters. Kirby's QB decisions???)

High risk aversion, intrinsic desire for old school Alabama offense (not the reinvented Alabama offense). Figures Stetson is the guy until he gets hurt, even at expense of giving game experience to whoever would come in after him.

I was convinced the Wake QB got some bad advice when he opted out. I’m not so sure he Didn’t see what was expected of a QB at UGA and decided playing at UGA could only drive his stock down. What are the odds that Fields transferred, Newman or whatever the frick his name is opted out and Jake Fromm regressed, all in the same system, and there ain’t a common thread???? They all also played or were going to play in a system where Bennett has a scholarship. It could well be that the reason JT Daniels came to UGA is because he had no real interest from anywhere else because of health. There is a common thread and all of this did not simply happen.

There is also the question of our lack of quality receivers. We may have a huge problem. Smart my not be able to build an offense.

UGA has receivers, Monken has moved the ball both in college and the pros, and Jake Fromm didn't regress in this system.

This is about management of one position - about philosophy.

In that time frame, we've gone through OCs even faster than faster than Jeffrey Epstein would go through the Babysitter's Club. There's at least a slight chance that the two things *might* be related.

QB leaves for NFL, new OC, Covid, practices cut short, 10 game Sec schedule and no time up games, QB opts out, other QB hasn’t played in a year due to surgery, other QB coming off knee injury and not cleared, other QB a freshman with no practices and then Stetson.

Maaan I’m just enjoying the defense. Anyone who didnt think this year was gonna be weirdoville was kidding themself
