It is Lane Kiffin’s fourth game of his first year. Matt Corral has looked like a world beating QB vs a team that just demolished Georgia and another team that just demolished Tennessee. Our defense finally showed signs of life. Despite how poorly we played on offense yesterday, we were right there with them at the end.

Our next two games are against Auburn and Vanderbilt, two of the worst teams in the conference. We can gain a lot of our momentum back next weekend with a win over the tigers and can be back at .500 after a road win over a hapless Vandy team.

After that, we still have SCAR, MSST, and LSU, all of which seem winnable to some degree. We still have a chance to win 5 games, which will be a massive improvement over last year with virtually the same team. In a normal season, 5-5 in the SEC would be 4 conference wins (.500 conference record) plus 4 OOC wins, putting us at 8-4. We would be dancing in the streets if we won 8 games in Kiffin’s first year.

Don’t panic yet. I think most on this board were fine yesterday but the sky isn’t falling after one game. Still a lot of football left to be played. Go Rebs and LFG

We will be fine. We played as awful as we possibly could and still had an opportunity to win. I'm not worried at all

We just can't do that consistently... especially on offense though

I still think the wind played a big factor. It shook corral’s confidence in his deep ball early and he couldn’t recover. Combined with Arkansas having a legit defense you get an abomination like yesterday

We always forget Corral is a redshirt Sophomore too. Playing with a new coach and system

Exactly. He had a really bad game but I can forgive it after his first 3 games. If he has another 3-4 interception game though then a discussion will be had. But again, Kiffin knows his shite and how to handle his QBs.

Isn't it Corral's 3rd system and 3rd OC since he arrived at Ole Miss? I know Ta'amu was starting QB, but Corral has had to learn Longo's system (lolololololol), RichRod's, and now Lebby's.

Did Yeboah not catch a single pass yesterday? Outside of all the picks, that may be the most glaring statistic if so.

He was only targeted once or twice the whole game

That was odd. His stat line was sick vs. Bama. 7 catches for 181 yards, 25.9 yd average, with 2 td's and a 68 yarder thrown in too.

You’d think with the wind the TE on some shorter stuff would have been pretty appealing.
