Leach: It's like a twilight zone.

In all seriousness, it does make you wonder how much a lack of hostile crowd noise matters when you're trying to break in a new offensive scheme.

Far be it from me to normally defend LSU but I’m sure just about all stadiums feel super strange this season.

Looked like most of the crowds at the end of the Alabama games I have been to there

Completely silent at the end of the game

Nothing has changed

Do we turn off our scoreboard before the game ends too or is that just an Alabama thing?

I think that was more regarding the cardboard cutouts in the stand. He said it was like they were "fake people stopped in time" or something like that.

Leach said why do the fake LSU fans get better seats than the living fans sitting up in the rafters

I made this post earlier in reference to games on the road and no one responded. So here it is again

Does this actually matter this year? Only way I could see it mattering is giving teams who have artificial turf an advantage since they are used to it.

Seriously though, how does it matter at all? Is Vegas giving their typical 3 point home puff points? I feel like it would be stupid of them if they are.

21,000 tickets sold. Only 12,000+ actually at the game Saturday in Tiger Stadium. (That's Spring Game numbers)

LSU fans don't like daylight football and not being able to tailgate before the game!

What were actual attendance numbers around the SEC Saturday? I haven't seen any mention of that.....

That’s incorrect OP. As someone mentioned the comment was in reference to the cardboard people.

He actually said it was loud enough that they had to use a silent count.

So you have only been going to games the since 2011... Remember the glorious 2000's when Bama won 3 games vs LSU in 12 yrs.

This was his answer

That’s an episode of Twilight Zone. The black and white Twilight Zone, where Rod Sterling would get on there with the creepy voice and the suit. It was almost like Haunted Houses meet Science Fiction. Now, we have all these people sitting there, frozen in time, in the stadium with enthusiastic expressions on their face, but they can’t move. If it’s cool and people enjoy it, great, but it is a little surreal, the fake people in the stands. And I don’t know how they decided the seating. Do the fake people have a lottery to see where they sit? I know this, some of those fake people have way better seats than others. I want to be one of those fake people on the 50, about row 12. But some of them are still up in the rafters. In these funny times, even a fake person can get screwed. So, live clean, live smart, and maybe when you become a fake person, you’ll get good seats at the LSU game."
