The Falcons have a tradition of folding up late in the game. The bigger the lead, the bigger the collapse.

That collapse is on coaching plain and simple.Going for 2 early on gave Dallas the 1 point advantage at the end. Not coaching the hands team on the onside kick that they could and should jump on the ball before it reaches 10 yards is inexcusable. That play should embarrass everyone in the Falcons organization. Arthur Blank should clean house.

Falcons fricked up not firing Quinn this past off-season. Sadly we are wasting prime years of some pretty good players - by the time a new HC comes in and players get up to speed Julio and Gurley will have lost a step and Ryan will be on the downslope of his career.

Maybe one day Arthur will get tired of making that trip from his luxury box to the field with a lead only to find out his team has found yet another way to pull defeat from the jaws of victory...

Today Pablo Torre refused to say Falcons and called the team the Atlanta F-word. I'm all for ditching the name Falcons for virtually anything else.

Quinn is the perfect definition of why the prevent defense sucks. He goes to it way, way too early in games and gives up a bunch of easy completions, allowing opposing QBs to get into a groove. When he has his oh shite moment and realizes the defense needs to be aggressive again, it is too late because the opposing QB is hot.
