No, I'll tell you who isn't Power 5. The Pac 12 is no longer the Power 5.

The American Athletic Conference looked more like a Power 5 last year than the PAC 12.

Big 12 is basically the ACC without Clemson. Oklahoma is respectable but often overrated.
PAC-12 May be DOA after this year.
AAC is as competitive as the lower 3 in the power 5. ACC has Clemson to keep them in it I guess.
Too bad they draw high school crowds with no TV interest.

This is a dumb point given the ACC has more small colleges compared to other conferences.
Both Va Tech and NCSU are around 60,000 average attendance which puts them in the top 25 highest. Miami and UNC are 50,000 plus. FSU is probably top 10 when they are good.
Cuse's indoor stadium can only hold 30,000.

Let's be honest, the powers in college football that are currently able to win a national championship are very few and far between this year. Your national champion for 2020 (assuming the season is allowed to be completed) will be one of the following:
Ohio State
Clemson
Alabama
Georgia
Ohio State
Clemson
Alabama
Georgia

I don’t care what size the schools are. Do they suck more often then not?

While I am fond of putting the boots in when I can...
The Big 12 ran off some quality football teams and replaced them with teams that weren't quite so quality. It is the Texas and Oklahoma show now and with Texas being very meh of late (with the exception of when they slapped around Georgia) they don't have much to hang their hat on.
The PAC-12 has been struck down by the curse of parity. A few teams are good, a few teams are bad, a lot of teams are just there. Oregon and Stanford have taken a step back. USC is just spinning their wheels. Washington hasn't been able to take that next step up.
I think the PAC-12 can turn it around before the Big 12 can. The overall talent is there... its just too spread out. Someone, sooner or later, will get a lock on the California talent and we will see a West Coast juggernaut appear.
The Big 12's problem is that they go as their Texas talent goes. You now have a lot of SEC teams cheerfully fishing for talent in Texas. Even Oklahoma, which has ruled the roost for a while now, is stuck not only having to fight off every other Big 12 team but half of the SEC as well.
The Texas pie is big... but its not that big.

That buzzsaw that OU done ran into is known as:
The best team in the history of college football.

Texas is embarrassing. Baylor and TCU have better success than the Horns.
It's been OU and that's it. Texas brags about money because that's all they have. Too many cooks in the kitchen over there.
