ESPN: Florida WR Van Jefferson has the best hands of anyone at his position group

ESPN.com's Matt Bowen believes that Florida WR Van Jefferson has the best hands of anyone at his position group in this draft class.
"Jefferson is one of the top route runners in this class, with pro-ready traits in that department," Bowen wrote. "But he also showcases strong hands at the point of attack, allowing him to snag the ball in tight windows."
Jefferson (6'1/200) was unable to take part in the NFL Scouting Combine due to a Jones fracture that required surgery, but it's well-known what he can do as a pass-catcher.
If there's an issue for him heading into this week's draft it's the depth of the receiver position, which likely limits his ceiling to going on Day 2. Whoever lands Jefferson will be getting a polished route-runner who also displayed consistent catching ability as a collegian.

Just look at his pedigree. He's a baller.

Van Jefferson dominated Stingley for an entire drive in our game. The only WR to do that this year... Idk how he is mocked as only a 3rd round pick, but I really hope he falls to the late 3rd and the Saints can draft him.

Hill has great hands for OSU. He's the only other guy that jumps out to me as having good hands.

Hill has his limitations physically and often will line up across from defensive backs that are faster and quicker (and perhaps bigger) than he is. But with his route savviness, his terrific hands and his ability to work the middle of the field, Hill has all the earmarks of a player who belies those limitations in the NFL.
Watching him this season on tape and live in Mobile, I kept coming back to one name for my comp: Jarvis Landry.
Hill and Landry were nearly identical height and weight coming out, although Landry had bigger hands and longer arms. But Landry’s combine and pro day workouts were shockingly poor (even with a hamstring injury hurting him in Indianapolis) in some regards, and it caused him to fall to the bottom of Round 2. Even that felt high to some teams who put more stock in Landry’s slow 40 (4.58), plus his low marks in the three-cone drill and the broad and high jumps.
But like Landry, Hill can’t be graded with a stopwatch. The old saying — go watch the tape — holds truer with him than any prospect at the position this draft cycle.

Josh Hammond had the best hands on the roster for Florida last year. He didn’t have a drop his junior or senior year.

Vastly underrated. He could get off press coverage insanely well too.
Will be a good pro. Not elite, but a solid player.

Pretty good but I dont know about best in draft.
Lipscomb from Vandy had just 2 drops last season and a 2.3% drop rate.
Interesting.
Jeudy had just as many drops, but had nearly 40 more passes thrown his way. Both he and Lipscomb had 0 drops that were created by the receiver.

This isn't even a shiny hook, it's just a dumb thing to say when a guy dropped 200+ and 2 TD's on him
