Genius Dan copying the Notre Dame offense.

That game was very satisfying and yet very frustrating at the same time. It was really fun to shut up all of the MuLLLen dick suckers but that score would have been so, so, so much worse if we had any kind of a redzone offense.

I watched the 2020 Sugar Bowl last night. Saw some guys that should be stars this year (if we have a season), and Cade Mays looked like garbage in the game. Gave up two sacks and several hurried throws and TFLs. Glad he's gone.

Way too many FG's
Left a ton a points out there.

One of those was on Kindley. The inside move should have been Kindleys man the entire time. There was a shift called in the protection.
Mays struggled. But as usual, a lot of OL problems can be chalked up to communication and execution.

After re-watching a lot of last season, I think Coley's main problem was lack of imagination. The entire offense would only work with a running QB, which isn't what he had; and he couldn't modify the offense to fit the pieces he had.
TBH that's deficiency a disqualifier for a championship tier program O-Coordinator.

I thought it was one of Coley's better games especially in the 1st half.
Jake made some head scratching reads and throws in the redzone.
Was very good between the 20's

This. Let's also maybe take a slight pause and recognize that Baylor's main pass rusher was the conference DPOY and all-time sacks leader at Baylor. It's not like it was some complete scrub defense they were playing against either.

lander's one handed lack of effort still makes me sick

On the bright side, Florida’s SEC sack leading defense didn’t get to Fromm once in 30 pass attempts.
That touchdown to Cager on the wide open play action cross/wheel route was my favorite play call of the year.

Yeah, Coley is no air raid genius but if the team executed better we would have still been runner up in the sec and likely in the sugar against Baylor.

My fav play was the herrien catch! Some of our receivers can't catch like that ....

Gonna miss 'em.
RB is the position group that concerns me the most next year.

I think White will be fine at the #1 RB spot. It's the #2, 3 and 4 that worry me. I wish we had a Herrien to plug in this season when we need a crucial short yardage run for 1st down.

Agreed! We been spoiled with swift, Michel and chubb the last few years. It will have some effect

Could Milton be getting overlooked right now? He's 230+ running a 4.5 with legit receiver skills skills and a winning mindset.
Dawgs are goods at RB.

The only back we have that I don't want to see getting significant carries is Cook. If it's not a jet sweep or a swing/screen pass I don't want to see the ball in his hands. If the play is between tackles I will call for Monkens head immediately.
