Does the bowl game usually sell out? Is it reasonable to think about buying tickets outside of the stadium prior to the game? I live close enough to make that drive.

Looks like there are a lot left on ticketmaster for $50+transaction fee. Probably not lower level though.

I live an hour from the stadium and plan to drive over to the game and buy great, lower-level seats for less than $50 each - will not be a sell-out. And if the weather is cold and/or wet, tickets will be even cheaper.

I know to not buy tickets if it's spelled "cotrus" on them.

There'll be tickets on the ground at kickoff.

I bet you can get in for less than $20 without any problem

I made the grave mistake of buying at face value back in 2010...

For this game, boosters who don't care about price and want their points will buy the tickets at face. I'd bet you could get LL EZ for 50-75 bucks the week of, and get in for less than 50.

The stadium is kind of in the hood of Orlando (think Legion Field light). However, from everyone that went to the Louisville game last year, they said the renovations were pretty decent. Called it, "nicer than college stadiums, but not approaching the pros."

I paid $20 each for lower level, 30-yard line seats in 2010. Bought them the day before the game from a guy staying at the same hotel. Our whole row was empty except for 5 or 6 people.

I'm not aware of any points earned just for ordering bowl tickets.

Thanks for all the feedback. For those who got a good price on tickets prior to the day of the game, whom did you (website) use to purchase?

Last citrus bowl...i left my ups envelope with 2 tix (dad and i) on the foyer table. Mrs didn't think anything was in the envelope and threw it away

We bought tix out font of the stadium on gameday and i vowed to not pay face value again

ETA. That was before the digital tix...not sure how it works now
