As soon as Auburn scored I said to the other Georgia fans around me, "Onside kick coming." when we lined up for a normal kickoff I thought, "What the hell?" We got lucky they had one fast guy on the play.
An Auburn guy in front of me turned and asked, "Does Kirby know anything about football?"

Kirby thought they were just going to do what Mullen did and ice the game for us. Definitely some patented poor game management down the stretch there.

I love Kirby for a lot of things but he calls games like he’s playing Madden

It's like we're conservative all game but the actual conservative call that must be made we whiff on.

Might be worth assigning an assistant to get end game management down so he has someone to reference.

I didn't know the kicking team couldn't block on an onside kick..guess Barners didn't either

With 12 minutes of football left it was a little early to expect an onside kick. They were stopping us with their defense. It was a bit of a surprise to me thta they tried it that ear;y.....which is probably why they did it. It almost worked.

They can...but only after the ball goes 10 yards. Once the ball goes 10 yards it turns into a free for all, more or less.

Tyler Simmons hasn't been worth a substantial damn since Jan 8, 2018. I'd burn a FR's redshirt before that liability sees the field again.

Stop trying to be sensible and toe the company line that Kirby is too conservative.

I knew it was an onside well before the kick. Auburn giving us the ball again was suicide for them. How we didn’t see that coming is unreal

I've said all year, Kirby needs to assume the role of HEAD COACH and leave the defensive play calling to his DC and quit the antics of having to be pulled by the belt off the field! Kirby too damned involved in defense to oversee the big picture. This onside kick debacle is a great testament to this.

Its a clear pattern of poor game management. He likes to play big, boy conservative football at all times except when it is time to play big boy football. Like when he lost his nerve on 4th and a foot against ND.
