Only 7 hard commits. Basically the only kids left are Arkansas and Tennessee kids. I don't think there's anyone from Texas on the list now.

In a way, I see this a bit of an opportunity to get some Arkansas kids committed that may have been overlooked before. Use the,
Nutt approach of pumping the program full of die hard Arkansas kids and sprinkling in a somewhat touted Texas or Georgia or La. Kid.

New coach, whomever he is, better get very familiar with the juco ranks and the transfer portal. Hell, go get some advice from Musselman.

If you're a glass half full guy like me, you would realize that 97th is better than our current team's on the the field ranking.

The right coach can supplement this class with transfers from the portal and JuCos and probably end up with a decent haul. He'd have to work his arse off and probably set aside some true recruiting opportunities, but at this point he's probably not flipping any big names anyway.

Just like Dykes did to clean up Morris' last mess, it isn't impossible.

The right coach

can pull in whoever the frick he wants, 4 or 5 stars, whatever. that's who we should be going after.

but us being Arkansas, hard to imagine getting a coach of that caliber. so we're settling for Norvell or someone else expected to have to 3 star, juco/transfer diamond in the rough recruit his way to average success in 3 or 4 years

man it's fun being a razorback football fan

This tells me Texas isnt our go to. All of our problems the last two years have come from Texas.

History shows we reached for too many Arkansas kids during the Bielema era.

People need to come to grips with reality - most years 4 or maybe 5 max players from this state can play for the Hogs.

Arkansas is a basketball state and baseball production wise but our fans act like it's football.

Exactly who would that be? And if such a person exists, what makes you think Arkansas, and every other program wouldn’t be driving a semi load of cash up his driveway, and offering up their daughters, so this man would come run their program?

It’s only settling for Norvell if your imaginary friend exists. It’s very likely that if we don’t settle for Norvell, and your imaginary friend doesn’t show up, swinging his big dick at all the 4 and 5 star recruits, Norvell will end up somewhere like Auburn, Ole Miss, or Tennessee, and will proceed to push our shite in for a generation.

So just go ahead and name that badass coach who would have us embarrassed for considering settling for Norvell, that we all may worship him, so he will come and bestow a national championship upon us.

I know none of us like to hear it but the new coach is going to need some serious time. This may be the worst recruiting class we’ve ever had unless they pull a miracle in a span of a few weeks.

The right coach now has the transfer portal to make a huge difference....

Plus, the right coach will bring some excitement back and perhaps one awesome Qback thinking about NC...

There might be an O line project that could turn out, or two. But largely, about the only in state prospect that I think that could help us might be Criswell. Other than that, we've pretty well got about all from the state that we thought could help for this class. If there are any that want to walk on and take a shot, come on in.

Right, but you can't replace an entire recruiting class with transfers.
