perfect game against Bama.

He missed a couple of passes so it wasn’t perfect.

It just wasn't some miraculous performance some people made it out to be. A huge number of QB's could have done the same thing.

I mean when a good QB has a good game its not miraculous.

That doesn't mean he didn't shred you.

A huge # of quarterbacks (14 in all before the Clemson game) all tried to do what Trevor Lawrence and Clemson did to Alabama but they wasn't successful. At some point you just have to give credit where credit is due and acknowledge that Clemson made the plays to win and Trevor Lawrence is a pretty good quarterback whether you like him or not. That doesn't diminish all the other great quarterbacks that are playing in college.

Did all those QB's have the Clemson O and D lines?

Stop being stupid.

If you can't understand the difference in clean pockets and having all day to throw vs constantly being under pressure and having to get your passes off quickly, then I really just don't know what to tell you.

The funny thing is when players like AJ did the same thing at Alabama, people had no trouble seeing it.

TL has a good O-Line and 3 first day NFL receivers. Tua has the same. Burrow has the same at WR but a slightly worse line, and Fromm & Fields have a little less at WR.
Those four combined have thrown less INTs than Lawrence, and not one of them have less TD passes.

Lawrence hasn't had a single game in his collegiate career where he was the best player on the field - not one.

Maybe he'll eventually improve to equal the hype, but right now hype is all he his.

*could HAVE, not could of. Or you could've used the contraction "could've" and realized your error. That Clemson education....

So why aren't you rooting for Tavien Feaster as well?

Did I ever say I wasn't rooting for him? I hope Feaster has a great year. Guy was a great teammate from what I hear, and was never a distraction/problem. He hasn't done much so far this year, but I hear Dowdle may be out a couple weeks. This is his chance to show out. I root for all former Tigers unless its someone like Chad Kelly.

I'll take the player that you claim don't live up to the hype but is undefeated and has won a national championship over the player that has all the hype and supposed to be better but can't win the big games (championship). Give me the winner over the hype. Trevor Lawrence is a winner. Give me the winner.
