Would anyone have seen this coming? Bryant is on pace for a career year in yards and TD's and he's only played half of two games while Lawrence has been pedestrian by his standards.

Lawrence is great, but most of the hype from his freshman year was generated from his potential as opposed to the offensive numbers he was generating. His measurements are a NFL scouts wet dreams.

Apparently T.Lawrence has a bruised shoulder since the second week of the season and is just now getting back to 100%

Lawrence hype is based on potential and his perfect game against Bama.

Happy for KB. Hopefully he can keep it going. I'm rooting for him.

Trevor is still much better and along with the rest of his team seem to just be waiting for the playoffs.

He generated 3300 yards, 30 TD to 4 INT with a 65% completion rate and tore up Notre Dame and Alabama in the playoffs as a true freshman. That's not really just potential, that's a really good season.

What people are so surprised about to start this season is he simply hasn't improved at all and arguably is playing worse.

Trevor won and natty and blew out Bama. No amount of stats from anyone this year can top that.

Lawrence played 9 plays against Charlotte. I imagine he could of padded his stats like these other QBs playing while up 30-40 pts (not talking about Bryant here) in the 4th quarter.

That and carving up Bama's D like no one has since Watson.

He's thrown 5 picks against a shite schedule. Look at Tua, Hurts, Fromm, Fields, and Burrow have thrown less despite playing longer.

That was a horrible scenario for KB. Dude really loved Clemson, but knew what type of talent Lawrence was, and KB was too good to sit and watch.

Bryant vs. Lawrence

Better Season? I guess is you are into stat packing but Trevor Lawrence hasn't lost a game and KB lost to Wyoming...

As for common opponent comparison just look at Bama...KB was manhandled by the Tide and TL lit them up like a Roman candle.

Being undefeated and 2nd in the nation trumps any stat comparison
