Looks like neither of these games will be played if the weather forecast holds up. Why not move start times up several hours to get the games in? Every game is broadcast on the SEC Network+, so if TV is an issue, just put another game in that time slot. Get the games in!

SECN+ follows the time regardless of delays, earlier starts, etc. SECN+ is managed by the school and it is responsible for equipment and personnel. That's why the UT broadcasts are so bad. Apparently, they only have a couple of hundred people that follow it. I would imagine the opposing team's fans outnumber the UT fans on any given home game in Knoxville.

Just play in the rain. I bet that would be fun.
Until a bat slips out of a batters hands and helicopters straight to the pitcher's face.

Don't think so. Maybe since school is out, they can play Monday

I think there is an SEC rule that states all 3 games have to be played in the three day window or something like that. That’s why we had to play a doubleheader with A&M on Saturday. Scheduled start on Thursday so we couldn’t play on Sunday.

The sec needs to fix this rule if schools are close to each other and if school is out. They could be screwing either team out of an SEC title (likely won’t happen but still)

Apparently winning percentage matters, not total wins so it shouldn’t screw you out of it.

Either way we play at least 2 games on Sunday.

The rain so far on the north end of this system isn’t heavy and no thunder so it’s possible we play today or can get a game in tomorrow

According to my phone it will be 80% chance of rain at 5pm in oxford but 0% at 6. 30% at 7 and 8.

We might get lucky and it move on out before the game starts

That was an epic amount of rain, that field usually drains really well....they were swimming in the dugouts
