Yeah. I don't get how JS gets a pass on here. He had time this past year. He has a hard time digesting D's quickly. Doesn't mean he can't have a great pro career. He has the tools. His main issue is lack of playing time. And playing against real athlete's. HS football in TX is a joke. The B12 is laughable. You saw his time away from the game and lack of real experiance when he played in the SEC.

This is not something you do in a Gus Malzahn offense. You throw to the #1 read based on the play calling. It's been that way for over a decades plus. It is not making multiple reads within the Malzahn offense. Which is why we saw so many screen passes.

Rarely did he have time early on. Five or six different OL starting combinations and that affected his time clock for the rest of the season. Especially on the deep ball.

He played fine the year before.

He played fine with an NFL RB to feed the ball to. He couldn't handle being the main focus. He also had time. It is documented he would roll to his strong side when pressured. Teams picked up on this and stacked that side.

What QB can be fine in our outdated offense with no NFL rb, shitty OL, and talented WRs with inconsistent ball skills?

Even Cam had Dyer, Lutzie, Fannin, and some playmaking receivers. I agree we need someone like Cam to improvise but there is no way we win a championship last year with that shitty line and weapons.
Cam would’ve saw that offense and signed with Moo State, Alabama State, Grambling State, anybody but Auburn.
