Parking is terrible down there. Something needs to be done. I arrived 45 minutes before first pitch and I parked a solid 7 minute walk away near MLK. Too much shite is being built around there. It is killing the parking situation.

Starkville's parking was a million times worse though

Now he has to attend every game the rest of the year, and drink more each game.

Yep, superstitious and stuff

You couldn’t get access to the public lot across from the stadium?

Are you seriously complaining about a 7 min walk? I hope you are being sarcastic. That is incredibly close compared to virtually any sport on campus. Hell three weekends ago my family went to a SOFTBALL game against UK in 40 deg windy and rainy weather and it was a 10 min walk (my son received an award after the second inning so had no choice haha sadly the first two innings of that game took like 2 hours while we tried to exhaust them by making them run the bases over and over)

If you got there 45 minutes early the lot across from Baum was not full. Just stop already

I've always parked behind Baum in that big field by that business (can't remember the name). Even after a packed house, I'll hop in my truck and take the back way to get to 6th street. It takes hardly any time at all.

There's a guy I work with that parks across the stadium in the paid lot and he says it's a bitch to get out of there because they make him turn left out of the lot and go through that 4 way stop and out that way.

Heck of a win by the Hogs. Campbell was basically unhittable. Not sure if we've k'd that many times in a game this season. Hopefully, our bats wake up the next 2 games.

Small was no slouch...
That fast ball must have had some run, because the hitters looked stunned for a few innings.

High level, entertaining baseball all round.
Except for those pop-ups that dropped in lol.

It must, because half the time I see hitters swing on him, it looks like their bat has a hole in it. He's a great college guy, but unless he develops a 3rd pitch, he won't amount to much professionally. Good luck the rest of the weekend.

Keytronics I believe, but it's not there anymore and they won't let you park in the field anymore this year. They let you park in the parking lot next to it though by the Beechwood Apartments now.

I've been going to games at Baum consistently for the past 13 years.

Parking is a serious issue and it is holding down actual attendance. Part of the issue is that they have blocked off large sections of the "public" lot by the railroad tracks for donor parking. Yes, you can arrive 45 minutes prior to first pitch with a less-than capacity crowd and not find parking in the big lot. I've done it several times.

The Keytronics lot is no longer an option. The field to the south of Baum is now an apartment building.

I'm just pointing out something that is obvious to people who have gone to games for several seasons. Lately, parking is a huge hassle. Lots of people who used to go frequently don't go nearly as often because it's a pain in the arse.
