Imagine in 1 year that Woodward fires O and steals Jimbo to LSU.

Is LSU going to pony up the money though? They would fire Ed O, hired a new AD, hire Jimbo and their fanbase isn't too happy with Paul M. That's a huge Christmas list for Santa to deliver.

Not that we would want him, but LSU can't afford Jimbo.
We are still paying Les. If we fired O (don't know why you fire a guy this February coming off a natty, but dumber things have happened!) and we still have to pay O through 2023.
Plus Jimbo is going to want a school to dramatically pay him more than he is worth just like aTm.

they've already paid a significant portion of his contract
