I know Avery is disappointed that they missed the big dance.
But that is not always the goal of a great coach like Avery. His goal is to make his team better every year. No matter how incremental. Just get better.
Now, before some idiot talks purely about wins and losses- I can say that is not always the best measure of improvement. Sometimes your team gets better at getting along with each other. Sometimes your team gets better at practicing harder.
They are getting better.
Avery knows it.
The team knows it.
Soon the entire country will know it. Even if it takes 4 more years to make the big dance again - if the bama fans will stay patient.....
Avery will get them there.

The U of A AD and BOT punked the Bama fanbase by retaining squeaky. The same MO they used with Grant and for the same reason...……….big buyout that they added to a coach that had a decent season.

hopefully Alabama will do better than Kentucky did when they were a #1 seed in the 2013 NIT.
