Will Wade tenure

Will Wade is having a great season, and turned LSU basketball completely around in a very short time. We were 2-16 in conference a couple years ago and missed the tourney with Ben Simmons on roster a year before that. Obviously there is still a lot of ball to play this year, but I think it is safe to say he has exceeded expectations. I love the tigers, but I also remain fairly unbiased. So, let's look ahead. At this level of success, how long do you all think we can expect to keep him in Baton Rouge?

SEC basketball is getting more attention these days, and maybe traditionally successful basketball programs like Syracuse and Uconn are becoming less attractive. So sure, there is a chance he makes a home for himself here.

On the other hand, he is from Nashville. Went to Clemson. Doesn't really have any ties to this region. So, I could also see him being plucked by another program, quite soon. Nowhere really comes to mind immediately, but I'm sure a more attractive offer could present itself. Maybe Roy Williams retires and UNC gives him an offer.

I hope he stays for the long haul, but it will be interesting to see it unfold. What does the rant think?
