Something I don’t think has been discussed yet regarding Bama/OK...

Everyone knows if Tua isn’t ready, gets hurt or is struggling, Bama has the luxury of inserting Jalen. Jalen is proven....if something should happen to Murray, who’s their backup QB and how is he?

I think this has been discussed a good bit, actually.

I think a better question would be: If Saban and Riley both had brain aneurysms, what staff would be better prepared to handle the adversity?

You don't plan for that. If Murray goes down then their game plan is already shot and they have to pray their backup has a crazy Trevor knight like game.

I've always hated when backup QBs coming in. This goes back Patrick Nix coming in and sticking it to us

It gives me nightmares, but I don't think that is something Riley is giving any thought to because this game is almost for sure over if Murray gets hurt.

I don't like it either. All the game planning goes out the window, and you just have to hope the new guy doesn't play well.

Bingo! The backup Vol QB this year(transfer from Stanford) came in a threw for 2 quick TDs after the starter got knocked out....you don't game plan for backups...unless you're playing Alabama.

Kendall, their backup QB has only attempted 7 passes since September 1st and has only played in 4 games this season! Instead of trying to get Murray the heisman, looks like they should have got their backup some more experience

The thing I have not heard anyone talk about is that Oklahoma has to prepare for both Tua and Jalen. And has to develop two very different defensive plans and practice for both. I would imagine Saban is going keep Tua's status under wraps for as long as possible.

Because no one cares who the back up QB is unless the back up is someone everyone knows.

It doesn't matter as long as Murray doesn't get hurt, and he's not likely to get hurt.
