Defensive. Savant.

Last year I happened to be in Tuscaloosa and was watching Clemson and Auburn with him after their game. He was eating pizza and drinking a Diet Coke and literally calling every offensive play for both teams from his recliner.

Wish he'd been able to call all of Auburn's plays in the game against Auburn last year. Might have helped.

George, George, George, I hate to be that guy but the Sand Mountain Savior doesn’t give a damn about the whole state of Alabama anymore. He’s from TENNESSEE

How many times do I have to tell you that Saban purposely threw that game for several reasons.
One being to assure the $49M contract. You're welcome.

Outstanding retort user Iron Lion. If Big Orange Germ is doing well enough at VOLS to be the first call when Saban dies and goes to hell, I think everyone involved will be pleased

We couldn't move the ball - Hurts' limitations were on display for the entire year.
Prior to the Bama game, Auburn had scored 40+ in 4 straight games. The offense was firing on all cylinders.
Normally, holding anyone to 26 is enough for Bama to win - but without any means of threatening in the passing game, teams crept up more and more. Against a lot of teams, Alabama could still run the ball but against the front 7 of Auburn, Clemson, and UGA the offensive limitations were VERY apparent.
Then Tua came in and the rest is history.
