Rifle Ranges

Technically, anywhere. Just be sure to leave before the police arrive.

So I just show up at Gainesville city hall and ask where the rifle range is?

There's a place in Braselton/Flowery Branch that I hear is pretty good. Trigger Time.

Never been, but I've heard good things.

I saw some shite last January I’d have bet was a lie 5 years ago. My neighbor are out hunting scaled quail and see some sped goats about a mile away. My buddy has his bow with him and tells me to drive around the hill we were on and to come up on another ridge about a third of the way between us and the goat but to stay in the truck when I stop. He jumps out and shuts the door very quietly. I thought he was nuts. I drive to the next ridge and he’s walking at a 90 degree angle to the ground very slowly. I’m watching him through glass and the antelopes are watching the truck.....they don’t know he exists. He gets within 100 yards of the goats and they are still watching me and the truck......he draws and I’m thinking surely he has seen another goat closer to him. He shoots and I swear it seems like a minute later the goat he stalked from a mile away drops like a stone.....more than 90 yards measured with a 300 foot tape measure....into a 25 mph steady wind blowing about 10 o’clock into his face......damndest thing I’ve ever seen hunting. Apparently not that unusual out her......I’ve seen him shoot coyotes with a rifle that I couldn’t see with the glass! 300 - 400 yard shots at mulies are the norm.

My parents live in Kennesaw, I may hold you to this.

Why doesn't such a thing exist in Walton or Gwinnett?
