Did Auburn deliver the knockout to Coach Cal’s team this year? They were already on a three game skid but they were playing on a weeknight against a team they clearly outclassed in talent and size.

I know Auburn had the advantage in team chemistry, better head coach, and home court advantage but I wouldn’t have expected Kentucky to plan with more pride.

Did Auburn kill them or did they just limp in on life support?

I actually thought UK played really hard and with a ton of energy for the first 30 minutes of the game.

what the frick are you talking about. You seriously underestimate the shooting talent at Auburn. Teams normally have one maaaybe two guys that can light it up. Auburn has a squad that can shoot.

Conference road games are brutal. I expect them to beat alabama saturday and end up 9-9 with a 10 seed in the tournament.

I didn't watch the game, but wasn't Kentucky winning with 5 minutes left?

I don't know. We struggle on the road. In Coleman I'd feel good about the game, but we haven't traveled well all year.

It could happen but we have been terribly inconsistent on the road this season. On the other hand we are a matchup nightmare for them so it isn't out of the question.

I'll be thrilled to simply win the game.

Auburn led a pretty tight game most of the way, but UK took the lead without about 12 minutes left. UK had about a 5 minute stretch where it looked like they were going to take control of the game, then AU went on a run the last 7 minutes of the game.

That's what people who haven't watched Auburn don't understand. If one or two guys has a bad shooting night, there are plenty of other guys who can step up.......and Auburn plays some in your face D. I have bitched since Pearl got there about the seemed lack of care on the D end. That has changed dramatically.

Maybe broke em.

But Bama will kill them. I know it happens sometimes but they should not lose to Bama. But they will as long as *we* think they're a good team.

This ^ ... marks of a truly good team -- which the UK's, Duke's and UNC's of the world have almost always had.

I respectfully disagree. I think UA beats UK. I think the three best teams in the SEC are UA, UT, and AU. Everyone else is playing catch up. I think UA beats UK and I am scared about UA coming into AU. We have a really good home court advantage, but UA really matches up better than anyone against AU.
I would not be surprised to see UA making a deep run in the NCAAs.
