If your team loses to Ed Orgeron, you fire your coach. Only schools that completely disregard football or are utterly run by syphilitic boosters would retain a coach after they lose to Ed Orgeron.

Examples:

Florida - Lost to Ed Orgeron, McElwain is shitcanned mid season.

Mississippi - Lost their coach before the season, interim loses to Ed Orgeron but they are in a terrible spot with looming sanctions and they choose to retain their coach, knowing that he can be fired easily as soon as they can get a real coach, with the Ed Orgeron excuse.

Arkansas - Lost to Ed Orgeron, We paid Bielema over 10 million dollars to gtfo because the loss was that fricking bad. Ed Orgeron. fricking Ed Orgeron.

Tennessee - Lost to Ed Orgeron, fired their coach in advance of losing to LSU because they knew Orgeron would win and were willing to hire someone mixed up in the Penn St. scandal because even that is better than a coach that loses to Orgeron.

Texas A&M - Lost to Ed Orgeron, fired Kevin Sumlin and spent SEVENTY FIVE MILLION DOLLARS guaranteed for Jimbo Fisher. He's never lost to Ed Orgeron. It was worth it to the Aggies.

then you have Auburn...

Auburn lost to Ed Orgeron and they gave Gus Malzahn a RAISE. They're paying him more than 7 million dollars a year to let Ed Orgeron beat them. The dumbest coach in the history of the SEC and Auburn not only retains their coach, they make him the highest paid coach that will never win a national title in the history of football.

I feel like once Coach O starts taking risky gambles instead of bitching out and kicking field goals from the half inch line, we need to call him the Shrimpboat Gumbo-ler... in honor of the ole Riverboat Gambler himself...

You know how tough it is to troll a fanbase that, for the most part, completely agrees with you?

I'm actually disappointed in LSU fans right now -- they should have upvoted this thread into the stratosphere by now.

No, shrimp boats are still the domain of gimps.

I would say it’s getting gumboed.

They probably got rid of him after the vandy game. We were not their last game.
