this felt like a very appropriate way to finally end the sumlin era.
I can’t wait for these kids to get broken down this spring by jimbo. It’s gonna hurt, they won’t like it, but will be better for it in the end.

But in all seriousness, I'm glad we got this over with. We weren't going to beat them with our defense. And we weren't making a comeback with this offense.

I'm surprised we didn't get blown the frick out actually, it was a bad match up especially given all the loses on the defensive side of the ball. Oh well, glad 2017 is over.

I'm glad I was at a wedding in Michigan freezing my balls off today. My dumbass that never learns probably would have gone to Charlotte otherwise.

Yep. My favorite has been seeing people who were surprised from this game and thought we’d see something different with the interim staff. Sumlin bred mental softness and bad coaching into this team, you don’t just reverse that in 4 weeks with 95% of the same staff. Jimbo has got his work cut out for him. I hope he hits the ground running and whips these kids into shape, I still think we have some decent talent on the roster it’s just got to be coached up and developed.

I wouldn’t say frick the team, I say frick the coaching staff that put the team in the crappy position. At one point we had 4 true freshman playing in the secondary, that is absolutely ridiculous.
I saw a stat that said only one senior, Cunningham, made a tackle out of 103 opportunities.
That was due to Henderson being a dumbass, Watts, Wilson and Harvey getting hurt, and Willis apparently dropping off the face of the earth.
Renfro can make plays, but he was left on an island to many times and he kept getting burned deep. He should maybe have been playing the nickel, or safety, not a cover corner.
