I'm on the Leach pirate boat, but I'd take ole Bobby back. He is like that good looking ex with fire pu$$y.

This...he sucks with a Heisman winner

Also, what does it say about him if he bolts this quick after going back to Louisville. Pretty much confirms he would be out the door again as soon as he could be. That ex you caught cheating will cheat on you every time you give her a chance

Yeah I didn't like winning 11 games in one season either.

He caught lightening in a bottle one time, while exciting it wasn't sustainable. We need someone to build the program, not throw one last great party before killing the whole thing.

How the hell do you know if it was sustainable or not? He was here for 4 years and we were the preseason #8 team in the country when he was fired.

Year 1: 5 wins
Year 2: 8 wins
Year 3: 10 wins
Year 4: 11 wins

All the bitching and whining about unproven coaches and people worrying about who can and can't win here. How about the guy that already has? Remove his first season with Nutt's sloppy seconds and the guy went 29-10 here in 3 seasons with an absolute dumpster fire to work with at the start. He literally took us from 5 wins to BCS Bowl in 3 seasons. How does that not sound EXACTLY like the kind of coach we need? I'm convinced that there's a portion of the fanbase that just doesn't like success.

ETA: As an aside, I think this is a pipe dream and won't happen, but the people adamantly going against the very idea have more on their minds than just winning football games. I don't give a frick about his moral compass or his commitment issues. The guy wins football games and that's what you pay them for. After fatass I'm done with all the rah rah. Just fricking win.

I think what he's doing at Louisville kinda shows he's past his prime. Honestly the 2011 team got really lucky to beat some bad teams.

bring back Petrino

It'll never happen, but I'd fully support BMFP coming back. It was so nice to be relevant and to look like a dang good football team.

I wished Petrino didn't like to ride motorcycles.

I don't know about past his prime, but it appears that the Arkansas debacle certainly neutered his coaching ability or fire that once made him great and he's now a watered-down version of the Petrino we knew.

If I were in the Louisville AD I think I'd make a trip to the nearest Hooters/Twin Peaks and hire every single waitress there for an assistant or secretarial position within the department, then sit back and let nature take it's course. Everyone knows a Bobby Petrino in the wild must be satiated with blondes in order to win football games.

Did you see all the threads about his recruiting and the attrition from his classes?

So which is it? Did Bert waste a shite ton of talent he had when he got here or did Petrino leave everything dry? It can't be both.

All I see is people bitching about the only coach to ever take us to a BCS Bowl. Seems pretty stupid.

There is nothing more fitting than bringing el capitán pirata Mike Leach to tFlagship.

I love that dude. I want him in the SEC but I don't think he'd leave Pullman. He seems to love it there and they love him
