Looking at all the different uniform styles representing all of our veterans, that is why I love college athletics. I bet you won't see one in the NFL today. Frick the NFL!!!

You realize that college football would die without the NFL?

Of all the leagues you wanna call out for Veterans Day support, the NFL should probably be one of the last

No, talent just wouldn't be as good. People would still play for a scholarship, just not the same people necessarily

shite is trashy. College football is about tradition and these schools trying to see who can one up the other with silly looking uniforms is retarded.

On top of that everyday should be Veterans Day. They should have a flag sticker on their helmets every week

If there were no NFL, college football players would go straight to the armed forces after. Would be a win/win for Murica.

Six one way, half dozen the other. I doubt ESPN would be scrambling to cover a bunch of frat boys playing for the Golden Boot.

All the military style alternate uniforms look terrible. There are other ways to honor veterans, like giving money to charities that help homeless veterans, supporting policies/programs that help veterans, and stopping the perpetual wars.

Btw, Fox is doing their NFL morning show from a Navy ship in San Diego and I have already seen many Veterans' Day commercials and the like on NFL programming.

Yes, but this isn't 1893. Things have changed.

Also true. You might say the word "symbiosis" is an appropriate description of the relationship. But hey, I'm "stupid as shite" so I have no right to use such big words.
