Not knowing who to prepare for vs. maturity at QB

This was brought up in a radio show I was listening to before a short morning shift I had earlier today.
You got talent at the QB position but they are very young and perhaps don't have AS MUCH knowledge and experience as the few less talented guys ahead of him.
However, say it's an early game in the season such as the openers this year or even games as far as say the Ole Miss game for Bama. How much does nearly no film to go off of compare to a less talented QB with better command of the offense; obviously the latter having been recorded for study by the opposing team?
I would use JFF as an example, but if I recall, he was a redshirt freshman and not a true freshman. Interested to hear the actual athletes' (rant users) opinions on the subject.

I don't think this nearly matters as much unless you are talking about someone with dual thread potential vs a pocket passer

Unless he's dual-threat I don't see how the no film helps.
JFF did take UF by surprise in A&M's 1st SEC game. Those guys didn't believe he could run by them.
