Why do the other parts of the country not care about college football?

Obviously the Midwest does. They’re just disadvantaged by the fact that their region is really damn cold and dying economically.
By why does the west coast and northeast not give a shite? Football is the greatest game on God’s green earth. And college football is the most exciting form of it.

The west and the north are liberal wastelands where sports are toxic masculinity.

Well, so is Georgia now apparently. Yet we still care.

Pros are easier to bet on and play fantasy football on. East cities don’t have a local team.

How? Most games are toss ups. In college, you pretty much know who is going to win. Just have to get the spread right.

What? The number of liberals in Atlanta is probably similar to all of New England.

They only care if they get their arse beat. Just chest bumping until the bitch slaps.

Pro football was late getting down to the south because the teams tended to form in population centers, which the South didn't have many of.
1960 Houston Oilers and Dallas Cowboys
Saints 1964
Atlanta in 1965
Jacksonville "Sharks" in 1974
Carolina Panthers 1993
Tennessee Titans in 1997
By contrast-
Philly Eagles 1933
Green Bay 1919
49'ers 1946
NY Giants 1925
Chicago 1920

Falcons were 1966 and Saints 1967, but your premise is correct.

climate has a lot to do with it.
kids up here in New England learn to ski and ice skate when they are 3. winter sports occupy more of kids time here. football is pretty far down the list.

Many parts care more about the NFL.
Take a trip up Massachusetts, Washington state, or Kansas, it’s all about the Chiefs, Seahawks, Patriots. Northerners care lots about hockey.
College football has become regional regarding the talent disparity.

I’m sorry but the NFL sucks. Everybody runs the same offense. The defenses are phenomenal, admittedly. The pass rush is the most interesting part of an NFL game.

That’s the issue. Spreads are massive many times in college, and those are the most difficult games to bet on
