Which would be the better starter? To me it seems that Edwards runs harder and is tougher to bring down. Does he not grasp blocking/catching?

I think the better question is Edwards or Milton. I pick Edwards.

Over Milton? I'd put Robinson over Milton, but he needs a little more work.

Edwards is the better back but his size hurts him up the middle, but clearly the best we got at this second.

Edwards.

But we need to get that RB from Kent State, Cooper. He was tough to stop/bring down.

I'd take mac. He's also one of our best receivers too. He has the ability to drive forward for extra yards after the hit while edwards has the tendency to float along the line looking for the hole - usually around the edge.

Edwards is averaging 5.9 ypc, and that's against the 1st team defense most of the time. Hardly lackluster.

Milton is averaging 5.6 ypa without the garbage time.

We are lucky to have all 3.
They are doing well.

its inflated from the Samford game. He has been disappointing, no doubt. Hope he can figure out how to make people miss or break a tackle again. If not, give me Mustard

Lol.
Half of his games are over 5.62 (Oregon and samford) and half under. That is how averages work.

He also has 3 rushing TDs( one in each game not against samford)
And another 4 catches for 65 yards (1 receiving td against Oregon).

The kid is fine.

Fans need something and someone to complain about. Milton has been trying to slip tackles instead of running through them and getting shoestringed. No one complains when McIntosh or McConkey get shoestringed.
I think people want to see Milton run over people.

He's fine, yes, but I think we have options on the roster that are better than fine

Also, if you're gonna regurgitate so_fl lines from the other board, give him credit

I wsnt to see Milton make someone miss in the open field. Run through them, run around them, just do something to make them miss instead of letting them tackle you.

I have my own thoughts and opinions, thank you. If I borrow someone else's, I give them a h/t.

Someone else said that Milton is trying to save tread (being more elusive than punishing in the open field). I don't know if that is the case. But visually, I can see it play out.

Milton lowers the shoulder in the hole, though.

Milton is still clearly our #2 right now..

That doesn't take anything away from Edwards. He plays his arse off every week. Having that quality at #3 on the depth chart is a great thing.

Edwards runs like a demon Clydesdale when he gets the ball.
