I think everyone would probably have predicted this. Auburn is going to have a higher proportion of its fans be college graduates just because there's not really a reason for anyone to feel a connection to the school unless they, or a family member, attended there. That's not a dig at them, it's just the difference between being the official state school versus being simply a school in the state.

Both of my grandpas were diehard Auburn fans and no one in my family has ever attended Auburn University. Neither of them were college graduates either.

As long as Auburn fans feel they have some sort of moral and intellectual high ground they will be content. They will enjoy this article.

surprised it took this long to get to the SEC rant. I am surprised though that it was started by a UGA fan and not an AU fan. Like previously stated, none of those figures are surprising. I was a little shocked at the average age though. If you go to a Bama game you see so many old people there compared to other schools

I agree. This is similar to fans of other schools (Purdue, TAMU, GA Tech, Wake Forest, maybe Clemson?, etc). Most people don’t like bandwagon fans, so I am ok with it.

According to the survey, almost 60% of Auburn fans are women. So if the fact that, literally, most Auburn fans don't have balls somehow triggers you, I guess we can pity you.

Personally, I like having more T&A than balls around. I guess Bama likes having more balls in their face.
